Silver Linings Very Special White 2015

Strong, luscious, musk aromatics of the Traminer are complemented by delicate Riesling influences which adds a hint of subtle spice and fresh citrus.  The Pinot Gris adds texture with the Sauvignon Blanc adding a tropical softness.

Viticulturist Notes

This wine is made from a blend of fruit grown in the Goulburn Valley and Strathbogie Ranges from our own vineyards.  Following delivery and crushing of the grapes
during the cool of the night, the blended juice was cold settled and racked.  An aromatic yeast was used for inocculation and this parcel was cool fermented for 7 days.  The resulting wine is fresh and vibrant showing a lovely hint of tropical fruit flavour.

Wine Harvest Notes

In 2015 we had little rain and warm tempratures, leading to fast ripening, early in the season.  Once temperatures cooled, things slowed down and we saw an increase in flavours and quality.

Seafood, curries and spicy dishes, such as scallops with ginger, chilli and lime.
